TNWISE 2025: Empowering Women Innovators for Smart Urban Development
The second edition of TNWISE 2025 (Tamil Nadu Women in Science and Engineering) Hackathon, a women-exclusive event hosted by the Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing - TANCAM, was held on March 14, 2025, at Sona College of Technology, Salem, under the theme of Smart Urban development. The event marked another milestone in empowering women in STEM, providing a dynamic platform for women to showcase their innovative prototypes and groundbreaking ideas. With over 354+ teams, 900+ participants, and 354+ projects from 75+ institutions across Tamil Nadu, the event fostered a vibrant atmosphere of creativity, collaboration, and technological advancement.

A total of 21 award winners were recognized for their outstanding innovation and creativity, with the first three awards being shared by two teams each for exceptional quality. Additionally, 15 special prizes were awarded for the best innovative projects, highlighting the remarkable talent and effort of the participants.
