The structure of bunker is made with different bodies(parts) and different materials (steel, cast iron, concrete), so the problem is nonlinear in behavior which falls under Multibody dynamics and Multiphysics simulation.
The problem is solved using SIMULIA in dynamic explicit condition. The working physics of simulation is to make a cylindrical cast iron body with mass 4600kg moving at a velocity 3.425m/s which impacts the structure of bunker and produces a maximum load of 550 ton during impact.
The physical scenario is replicated using interaction properties and virtual connections in simulation.
