TANCAM’s Technology-Led Impact at Global Women Summit 2026
At the Global Women Summit 2026 held on 27 & 28 January 2026, organized by the Tamil Nadu Women Employment and Safety Project (TNWESafe), we were proud to showcase how the Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing (TANCAM) is empowering women students and women entrepreneurs through advanced manufacturing technologies and deep-tech interventions.
From digital engineering, Industry 4.0, virtual twins, simulation, AI-driven design, and advanced manufacturing technologies, TANCAM continues to bridge education, innovation, and entrepreneurship, enabling women to transform ideas into impactful solutions.
A key highlight of the summit was the official launch of TNWISE 2026 – Hackathon for Women in Science & Engineering, a flagship initiative focused on:
Empowering women in core STEM domains
Driving innovation through advanced technology
Creating pathways from hackathon to prototype to startup to industry
We had the honour of presenting the TNWISE vision to the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin, sharing how TNWISE is shaping Tamil Nadu’s next generation of women technologists, innovators, and entrepreneurs through a structured, technology-led ecosystem.
We sincerely thank the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin, for his encouragement, support, and inspiring words, which strongly motivate us to scale TNWISE further and strengthen women-led innovation across Tamil Nadu.
