Followed by the Faculty Development Program, TANCAM trainers played a vital role in imparting practical knowledge to students enrolled in the "Product Design and Manufacturing 3D Surface Modelling" course. On NAAN MUDHALVAN Day, TANCAM trainers visited each college and conducted training sessions using the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform by Dassault Systèmes. During these training sessions, students had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, a cutting-edge software tool widely used in the industry for product design and manufacturing. The trainers delivered engaging sessions, teaching the students various aspects of 3D surface modelling techniques, including 3D modelling fundamentals, complex surface geometries, and simulation and analysis. To further enhance their learning, students were encouraged to work on projects during the course duration. Finally, each student submitted their project reports, showcasing their understanding of industry-used cases and innovative ideas. The project reports not only allowed students to apply their newly acquired skills but also demonstrated their ability to identify practical solutions to real-world problems in product design and manufacturing.
